Cash for Kids – A helping hand for local children

Last year the patients and staff at AP Smilcare came together to support Cash for Kids with their Mission Christmas project. The charity lends a helping hand to children aged 0 to 18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from neglect throughout 21 different areas of the UK.

With the help of Rock FM, who promote awareness for Mission Christmas, the practice was a drop off point. This meant patients and other members of the local community were able to donate unwanted gifts as well as money which would be distributed to local children across the North West making sure they were able to enjoy opening a gift on Christmas morning.

Last year with the kindness of all those who donated to Mission Christmas across the 21 different areas across the UK Cash for Kids were able to distribute over an amazing £6.8 million in cash and gifts helping to make a memorable Christmas for over 250,ooo children in local communities.

Due to its success last year, AP Smilecare dental surgery in Blackburn will be a drop off point again this year and to thank you for your kindness you can enjoy a Merry Berry treat with the rest of the team.
