How to choose the best dentistry plan

Improving your oral health isn’t always about cosmetic dental procedures, it’s also about protecting your smile with regular appointments and screening. For some, the cost of ongoing dental care can be a barrier to dentistry services, but it doesn’t have to be this way.

At AP Smilecare we want our clients to love their smile and believe there’s a payment solution that will work for you and your specific situation.

Consider your needs

The first thing you’ll want to do is get an assessment on your oral health from your dentist. After a physical exam or check-up they may recommend a hygiene appointment. Once that’s done they’ll be able to clearly see exactly where your oral health is at and can communicate any potential problems.

Our professionals will have a look at any existing fillings, make note of any cavities, and can give you recommendations on next steps. Depending on the outcome of assessment you can then pick a dental plan that’s right for you.

What is a dentistry payment plan?

A payment plan is often used by private pay patients to help average out the cost of yearly dental treatment into monthly payments.

The great thing about a payment plan is it comes with a standard monthly payment and outlines all of the services you’ll receive.

At AP Smilecare one of our most popular payment plans is Denplan. Due to the banded structure of Denplan you have the flexibility of choosing what level of service you want or need.

The most basic plan starts at £9 per month (or £108 per year) and covers one routine exam, x-ray, and one 20min hygienist visit. This gives you a price break when compared to those without a plan — plus you’ll receive a 12.5% discount on additional dental services.

What is dental financing?

Dental financing is a specific type of loan intended for dental procedures that can be spread across 12, 18, or 24 months.

Following an accident, injury, or emergency you may need bridge-work, implants, root canals, a crown or orthodontics on short notice – and you may not have all the funds you need. We recommend you come to us for an assessment to find out the total cost of the treatment.

Low Rate Finance Now Available

After that you can apply for dental financing for the amount you need. Our patients find dental financing to be a quality and cost-effective method to pay for dental services. Some even discover the interest rate offered though dental financing has a better interest rate (9.9% per annum) than most bank loans, credit card rates, and short-term loans.

Whether you need complex dental work or a simple plan to spread out the cost of your dental care, rest easy knowing there’s a payment option that will work for you!

If you still aren’t sure about which payment solution is right for you, simply book an appointment for a full dental consultation.

At AP Smilecare, we’re committed to helping you get a smile you’ll love for years to come. For any of your dentistry needs, feel free to give us a call on 01254 297 000 to see how we can help!
