At AP Smilecare, we also provide dedicated dental care for children, helping young patients feel comfortable and confident from their very first visit. With over 20 years of experience as a family dental practice, we understand how important those early dental experiences are, and we take a calm, gentle approach to make every appointment as relaxed as possible.
We are a private dentist in Blackburn, however, we are currently accepting new NHS child patients, whether it’s a first check-up or ongoing care. We focus on helping children feel comfortable in the chair and building positive dental habits early on, so they grow up with healthy smiles and confidence around their oral health.
What’s more, alongside our children’s dental services, we’re also proud to run the AP Smilestars Programme, a supervised toothbrushing initiative delivered on behalf of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. It helps children aged 2–5 in participating schools and pre-school settings build strong daily brushing routines in a way that’s fun, engaging, and educational.
