Join us at Learning Disability Health Day at Barbara Castle Way Health Centre!
At AP Smilecare, we’re always looking for ways to support health and well-being in our community as Blackburn’s favourite family dentist, which is why we’re excited to share an event you won’t want to miss! The Learning Disability Health Day will take place on Saturday, 26th April, at the Barbara Castle Way Health Centre, Simmons Street, Blackburn, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for anyone to get involved in their health journey. Whether you’re looking to learn more about annual health checks, get some information on health screening, or get involved in health promotions, there’s something for everyone. It’s the perfect time to take control of your health with some fun and informative activities.
Here’s what you can expect on the day:
- Annual health checks – You can even have one done while you’re there!
- Health Screening – Take part in engaging activities and learn how to check yourself in a fun and easy way.
- Health Promotion – Explore lots of ways to stay healthy, plus you can enjoy free drinks and snacks throughout the day.
This event is all about creating a warm and supportive environment for people with learning disabilities to take charge of their health, but it’s open to absolutely everyone! Whether you’re popping along for some practical health advice, keen to find out more about the services available, or just want to enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, there’s something for everybody to get involved in.
